Chief Executive Message

Dear Readers,

I welcome you for visiting this website. It gives me immense pleasure in introducing Water, Environment and Sanitation Society-(WESS) on this site. WESS was established in the year 1999 as a non-government, non-political, and non-profit civil society development organization registered with the  Balochistan Charitites Registration and Regulation Authority. 

Over the years, WESS has strengthened its capacities in internal controls, management, organizational development, and governance, thereby establishing itself as a credible and trusted entity among civil society organizations, partners, government and communities.

WESS is continuously receiving a great deal of support from its stakeholders which include the poor communities of Balochistan, the donors, private sector and the government, which significantly contributed to providing smooth services for the development of the Province.

WESS is presently working in the following areas

  • Social & Economic Empowerment.
  • Water and Sanitation.
  • Child rights and protection.
  • Natural resource management.
  • Emergency relief in disasters or displacement.
  • Sustainable Livelihood.
  • Environment.
  • Education.
  • Health.
  • Alternate Energy.

  • Community Based Protection.

There is yet a dire need of support required from external donors and indigenous sources to enhance the speed of response to the needs of the people of this province. This website is being presented with the hope that it will help stimulate research and action on substantially increasing the scale of coverage by WESS.
